Update from Ad Hoc Facilities Committee

 

Public Hearings:

  1. Public Hearing to consider amending (1) Chapter 110. Alarm Systems of the Village of Dobbs Ferry Code.

Matters Requiring Action:

 

  1. Mayor Connett announces appointments of Chris Scaperrotta, Mike Carlton, Steve Gifford and Mike Moynihan to the Village’s ad hoc Facilities Committee.
  2. Consider awarding a bid to LM Electric in the amount of $23,049 to install a previously approved lighting control system in the Library as recommended by the Village Engineer, the Village’s Special Consultant, and the Chair of the Village’s ad hoc Energy Task Force.
  3. Consider a motion authorizing the Mayor and Village Administrator to sign an extension with the New York State Department of State for the Dobbs Ferry Trolley Project # T007018.
  4. Consider a resolution to apply for a shared service grant “Local Government Efficiency Grant” from the Department of State (DOS) for funding to study potential shared services and consolidation of the Village of Dobbs Ferry and the Village of Hastings Departments of Public Works (DPW).
  5. Consider request from the Dobbs Ferry Union Free School District to have the Dobbs Ferry High School graduation ceremonies at Waterfront Park on Saturday, June 16, 2012 at 6:30 p.m. and for the facility to be available beginning at 5:00 p.m.
  6. Consider a request from AARP Foundation to waive parking meter fees during their period of providing tax services at the Dobbs Ferry Library.
  7. Consider a resolution requesting a ‘Home Rule’ request allowing for a Special Hotel Tax in cooperation with the five other Villages of the Town of Greenburgh, the Town of Greenburgh and the Village of Sleepy Hollow.
  8. Consider a motion to authorize the Interim Treasurer to process year-end transfers and amendments to the 2010-11 fiscal period.
  9. Consider cancellation of Village tax on Village-owned property.

10.  Consider closing Village Hall on April 27th and April 30th for records management.

11.  Consider a motion extending Grievance Day to February 23rd from 2pm-4pm and 6pm-8pm at Village Hall.
