The mission of the Citizen's Budget Committee is to review the Annual Operating and Capital Budgets and report to the Village Board of Trustees. The Committee may also review Village borrowing and investments making recommendations as needed. The committee may take on special projects as requested by the Board. The Committee's goal is to identify possible economies, expense controls and revenue opportunities, through study of the budgets, comparisons to other similar municipalities and exploration of opportunities for shared services in a non-partisan manner.
