We understand that doing transactions over the Internet makes some people nervous, so here are a couple of things you can do to check on us. 

  • Here's a memo from New York State Racing and Wagering Board confirming our registration with the State to hold raffles. Feel free to call New York State about us. Their phone number is in the memo.
  • We are listed at GuideStar which is the National Database of Non-profit Organizations. You can go to the GuideStar web site and search for "Dobbs Ferry Schools Foundation."
  • The IRS maintains an online charity search (online version of Publication 78) and you can see that we are listed with the IRS.  Go to the IRS web page and search for "Dobbs Ferry Schools Foundation."
  • Go to the Village of Dobbs Ferry, NY web page and get the phone number or email address of the mayor or any village trustee.
     

Contest Rules

There will be one prizewinner. The winner may select either the 2007 Harley-Davidson Softail Fat Boy® (includes all standard equipment) or cash in the amount of $15,000. Go to www.fritzshd.com for the full listing of standard equipment.  The winner is not required to use any particular Harley-Davidson dealer, but the price of a Fat Boy® is guaranteed at Fritz’s Harley-Davidson of Stamford CT for $18,500 which is the prize amount paid by DFSF to any Harley-Davidson dealer. The winner may select a different model motorcycle but DFSF will only pay $18,500 directly to the dealer and the winner assumes any additional expenses. The winner must pay all applicable sales taxes, registration fees and any desired options that are not listed as standard equipment. The odds of winning are 1:999 if all tickets are sold.  If fewer than 450 tickets are sold, all purchasers will receive a full refund of their raffle ticket(s) purchase.  Winner need not be present at drawing.  Raffle is open to citizens or permanent residents of the United States who are eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry.  Subject to the maximum number of tickets (999), there is no limit to the number of tickets that may be purchased by any individual.  DFSF assumes no responsibility for lost, late, misdirected or undelivered entry forms.
