There are two of parking lots available in the business district and one at the Metro North Railroad Station. Those locations and information relating to the specific parking location is included below. Information is also available regarding various parking permits to residents and non-residents.
BUSINESS DISTRICT PARKING
All meters accept quarters, Dobbs Ferry Parking Meter Card, and Visa, MasterCard and Discover cards.
Parking meter rates are 25 cents for 15 minutes or $1.00 an hour. Credit card purchases require a minimum of 1 hour of time be purchased.
There are 294 on street metered parking spaces throughout the business district.
Meters are labeled with four colors, gray, blue, red and gold. Gray and blue meters allow for a maximum of two hours of time to be purchased. Vehicles that display a Central Business District Parking Permit are allowed to park a blue meter without purchasing time. Red meters allow for a maximum of 30 minutes to be purchased. Gold meters, located on Palisades Street adjacent to the Dobbs Ferry Train station allow for a maximum purchase of 12 hours.
Parking Meter regulations are in effect from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday through Saturday, except all village holidays.
OAK STREET LOT (Between Cedar and Oak Streets)
Thirty-eight parking spaces; with a maximum three-hour limit. The lot is designated “Pay and Display”, individuals must pay at the parking kiosk and display the receipt on their dashboard. Individuals with a Central Business District Parking Permit may park without purchasing time at the kiosk. There is a 72 hour time limit and enforcement is Monday through Saturday 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. No commercial vehicles are permitted to be parked in the lot. There is no parking in the lot from 9:00 am to 12 noon on the second Wednesday of the month.
VILLAGE HALL MUNICIPAL LOT (Between Oak and Elm Streets)
Seventy-three parking spaces; with a maximum three-hour limit. The lot is designated “Pay and Display”, individuals must pay at the parking kiosk and display the receipt on their dashboard. Individuals with a Central Business District Parking Permit may park without purchasing time at the kiosk. There is a 72 hour time limit and enforcement is Monday through Saturday 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. No commercial vehicles are permitted to be parked in the lot. There is no parking in the lot from 9:00 am to 12 noon on the first Wednesday of the month.
Business District Parking Permits
Central Business District Parking Permits are available to residents of Main, Cedar, Oak, Elm, Chestnut, Walnut, Streets, Draper Lane, Hudson Terrace and Livingston Avenue. Individuals who do not reside on these streets however work at a business on these streets may purchase a Non-Resident Central Business District Parking Permit.
Resident Central Business $ 115.50, $ 50.00 senior citizen

RIVERFRONT PARK PARKING LOT (Located at the Dobbs Ferry Metro North Station)
There are a total of 469 parking spaces available at the train station. Eighteen are designated for recreation permit holders and twelve are designated for patrons of Hudson Social. In addition there are additional spaces available for overflow in the Half Moon Restaurant south parking lot, from 5:00 am to 7:00 pm. Parking in the Riverfront Lot, Half Moon Lot and on Station Plaza is by permit only.
Annual Resident Commuter Parking Permits are available at the police station.
Non-Resident Commuter Parking Permits are available to residents of the Village of Ardsley from the Ardsley Village Clerk’s Office.
Residents may purchase a Daily Commuter Permit at the police station by presenting a valid vehicle registration reflecting a Dobbs Ferry address.
Non-Residents may purchase a Daily Permit for parking from 5:00 pm to 2:00 am Monday through Friday and Saturday, Sunday and holidays from 5:00 am to 2:00 am.
Dobbs Ferry Resident Recreation Permits allow residents to park in recreation spaces for a 4 hour limit Monday through Friday and from 5:00 am to 2:00 am; and all day on Saturday, Sunday and holidays.
From Memorial Day to Labor Day, there are a total of 50 free parking spaces available at the Waterfront Parking Lot on Saturday and Sundays. There are twenty spaces located along the park entrance from the flag pole north. An additional thirty spaces are available at the north end of the parking lot on the east side of the divider. In addition there are twenty MTA parking spaces available Saturday, Sunday and Holidays along the train platform.

RESIDENTIAL PARKING LAW
Residents who reside on the following streets may purchase a Residential Parking Permit which allows a vehicle to be parked on the street in excess of the posted time limits.
Broadway residents of number 191 Sussex Hall.
Chestnut Street (Broadway to Main Street only)
Palisade Street (Cedar Street to Chestnut Street only)
Permits are valid on the above listed streets only and alternate side parking regulations remain in effect.
Resident Parking Permit $ 25.00 annually
Non-residents are allowed to park for the posted limits only from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm. with the following limitations:
Oak Street - 6 hour limit
Elm Street - 6 hour limit
Riverside Place - 4 hour limit
Hatch Terrace - 4 hour limit
Walnut Street - 4 hour limit
Chestnut Street (Broadway to Main Street only) - 4 hour limit
Palisade Street (Cedar Street to Chestnut Street only) - 4 hour limit
