Famous Women Photographers
Wednesdays November 6-20 and December 4, 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM
“Famous Women Photographers,” a new lecture series, will be offered later this Fall. Co-sponsored by the Dobbs Ferry Recreation Department and Dobbs Ferry Public Library, it will be taught by Susan Courtney, an instructor from Westchester Community College, who taught the popular “Famous Women Artists” lecture series here last Fall. They will run on Wednesday afternoons early November to early December.  More details on registration procedures will be provided closer to the date.  All are welcome!
An exploration of the photography, personal life and artistic impact of six famous women photographers: Julia Margaret Cameron, Dorothea Lange, Diane Arbus, Vivian Meier, Annie Leibovitz and Cindy Sherman.
