DF Library Event: DFPL Trustee Info Session

As advocates of our beloved village library, Dobbs Ferry Library Board Trustees have a role in determining the mission of the library and are responsible for helping direct library funds, setting policies, and hiring and evaluating the library director.

The time commitment includes ten annual meetings, currently scheduled on weekday evenings or Sunday mornings, and as-needed committee meetings, which are usually held on the weekend or in the evening. Attendance is expected at various library events, as well as at Village Board of Trustees meetings as needed. Library trustees are appointed by the Village BOT to serve a five-year term, with the option of staying for a second term.
