GOULD PARK PLAYGROUND IMPROVEMENTS
VILLAGE OF DOBBS FERRY
Sealed proposals for the following construction work will be received by the Village Recreation Department, Village of Dobbs Ferry, at the Dobbs Ferry Recreation Building, Memorial Park, 105 Palisades Street, Dobbs Ferry, NY 10522, until 10 a.m. prevailing time on Tuesday, March 23, 2021. No proposals will be accepted after said time and date. Bid opening will take place on Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at 10:30am via Zoom.
The scope of work includes the addition of new playground equipment, safety surfacing, cobble curb and site restoration along with associated removals. Asphalt Pavement Pathway is included here as an Add Alternate.
Plans, Specifications and Contract Documents may be obtained as of Tuesday, March 2, 2021, at the Dobbs Ferry Recreation Building, Memorial Park, 105 Palisades Street, Dobbs Ferry, NY 10522 between the hours of 10:00am – 4:00pm Monday – Friday. Plans will also be available on the Village of Dobbs Ferry website, www.dobbsferry.com
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that based upon notices and health advisories issued by Federal, State and Local officials related to the COVID-19 virus, the reading of bids will take place via Zoom Video conferencing as permitted under the Governor of the State of New York’s Emergency Order Number 202.1, due to public health and safety concerns, the public will not be permitted to attend this bid opening in person. Bids shall be made on the Proposal forms furnished with the Specifications, and must be accompanied by a Bid Bond acceptable by the Village, in the amount of not less than 5% of the total amount of the Bid. Bidders who submit certified checks must accompany them with a Consent of Surety from a recognized Bonding Company. Checks shall be made payable to the Village of Dobbs Ferry, New York and are to be held by Village as a guarantee for the proper execution and delivery of the Contract and bonds to secure the faithful performance thereof. In default of such execution and delivery of Contract and Bonds, the amount of the deposit represented by the check shall be forfeited and retained by the Village of Dobbs Ferry, as liquidated damages.
Proposals shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope addressed to the Village Board, Village of Dobbs Ferry, New York and endorsed "GOULD PARK PLAYGROUND IMPROVEMENTS, Village of Dobbs Ferry, NY 10522. Bidders must include their name and address on the outside of the envelope. Mailed bids should be sent to: 112 Main Street, Dobbs Ferry, NY 10522
The Village of Dobbs Ferry reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive any informality in any Bid, and to award the Contract to other than the lowest Bidder if deemed in the best interest of the Village to do so.
Federal funds are utilized on this project and are subject to all the applicable requirements of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
