NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that there will be a regular meeting of the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Dobbs Ferry on Wednesday evening, September 13, 2017  at 8:00 p.m., in the Meeting Room of the Board, 112 Main Street, Dobbs Ferry, New York.

AGENDA:

AMENDED

1.Adopt minutes of Zoning Board of Appeals Meetings of January 11, 2017,  February 8, 2017, April 12, 2017, May 10, 2017 and July 12, 2017

2.  289 Clinton Ave. Plans to construct three (3) types of fences in rear of property located at 289 Clinton Avenue. Fence “A” on top of wall is 6’ 6” high, whereas maximum height is 6’, a variance of 6” is required. Fence “B” is 8’ high wrought iron, whereas maximum height is 6’, a variance of 2’ is required. Fence “C” is 8’ high chain link, whereas maximum height is 6’, a variance of 2’ is required.

3.  7 Forkland Ln.  Plans to construct a sixty foot (60’) high amateur Radio Antennae in the back yard.

4.  89 Beechdale Rd. Appeal the determination of the Building Inspector that the pre-existing lot does not conform to current zoning standards and will require two (2) variances.  Dobbs Ferry code Appendix B calls for a minimum lot width of 125’, existing is 110’ wide requiring a variance of 15’.  300-33.B (1) that portion of a flag lot that fronts the street shall be a minimum of 25’, existing is 15’ requiring a variance of 10’.

5.  127 Hilldale Rd.  Plans to construct a two (2) story addition to the rear right side of the house is setback 8’3” from the side property line; whereas the minimum allowed setback is 10’, a variance of 1’9”.  The new deck on the left right side of the house is setback 6’5” from the side property line, whereas the minimum allowed setback is 10’, a variance of 3’7”
