The Village of Dobbs Ferry is developing a plan in accordance with Governor Cuomo's executive order 203 - NYS Police Reform & Reinvention Collaborative. To assist our work, the Village is seeking input from its residents in various ways. Today, we are launching the Dobbs Ferry Police Community Survey. We ask that one person per household/business complete the survey. Responses are due by Tuesday, February 16 at 5pm. It should take about 5-10 minutes of your time.
The survey will assess five key components that involve the Dobbs Ferry Police Department; 1. Community Involvement; 2. Safety; 3. Procedural Justice; 4. Performance; 5. Contact & Satisfaction. Your responses will help guide our decision-making on necessary improvements to our police operations. The survey is confidential, but you may provide your contact information at the end if you wish. Survey questions are available in both English and Spanish.

Hard copies of the survey will also be available in the lobby of Village Hall and at the Library. You may return hard copy responses to the survey in the lockbox in the lobby of Village Hall.
This is not the only opportunity to provide input into the Police Reform & Reinvention process. The Task Force will be holding a public forum to discuss the survey results and hear any comments, concerns, and ideas on Thursday, February 25, 6 pm, via Zoom. Sign up for the Village of Dobbs Ferry emails at www.dobbsferry.com to get updates.
