Update 9/2/21: Road closures and power outages

As a result of the storm that came through our area last night and early this morning, Dobbs Ferry has approximately 312 households without power.

According to the Con Edison Outage Map, there is no estimated time of restoration at this moment. We will check back throughout the day to update you on the estimated times of restoration as they become available. If you are experiencing a power outage and have not reported it to Con Edison yet, you can report it here OR you can text REG to OUTAGE (688243). You can also reach Con Edison by phone at 1-800-75-CONED.

Please do not call the police to report an outage. Your best bet is to report it to Con Edison.
The Dobbs Ferry Department of Public Works, Fire Department, Police Department and Building Department are working together to make areas throughout the Village safe.

The following are a list of road closures and places to avoid:
  • Maple street from Washington Avenue to Park Lane is closed.
  • Ogden Avenue from Hunters Run to Danforth Avenue is closed.
  • Walgrove Avenue from 145 Walgrove Avenue to Childrens Village is closed. There is currently no safe access to Children’s Village.
  • Saw Mill River Parkway is closed south of Lawrence Street and north of Ashford Avenue.

Barricades and cones throughout the Village are in place for a reason.
Please do not drive or walk around barricades and cones – they are there to protect you!
