CALL TO ARTISTS
RiverArts is thrilled to invite artists to participate in the 25th Annual Studio Tour! 25 years ago, RiverArts (known as Rivertowns Art Council at the time) organized its first ever open studio event with about 10 artists. Last year’s Studio Tour featured more than 80 artists. Over the last two and a half decades, the tour has grown into one of the most anticipated arts events in Westchester County. Join the celebration! Be part of RiverArts Studio Tour’s 25th season.
The tour welcomes artists who live or work in Ardsley, Dobbs Ferry, Hastings-on-Hudson, Irvington and Tarrytown/Sleepy Hollow and who work in the following media: ceramics, collage, installation, mixed media, mosaics, painting, performance, photography, printmaking and sculpture.
Included with your participation:
1.) A choice of showing one work at one of three Preview Exhibitions of your choice [Hastings, Irvington, or Tarrytown] with a possible add on of a second piece in the Dobbs Ferry ArtWalk.

2.) PR and Promotion
RiverArts will print
- 16,000 full-color brochures with a map of tour locations and a thumbnail of each artist’s work. [This brochure will require from you one square image at 300dpi which will serve as your main image.]
- banners, posters & flyers
3.) Web Presence
RiverArts highlights the Studio Tour in its e-blasts, on the RiverArts’ website (riverarts.org), and on the designated Studio Tour website (studiotour@riverarts.org), which promotes participating artists before, during and after the tour. The Studio Tour website offers each artist a separate page including up to three images, an artist's statement and/or Bio, a Google Map location of the artist’s tour location, and a link to the artist’s own website (please link back to ours). Artists are encouraged to join RiverArts' social media campaigns on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
4) Supporting the event
Participating artists must be RiverArts members (memberships start at $35) and submit a processing fee ($75). $25 will be subtracted from the processing fee for any artist who volunteers to help. Ways you can help are outlined in the form below, or suggest your own.
