The members of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Dobbs Ferry will meet in person on Tuesday, October 10, 2023 at 7:30 p.m. at Village Hall located at 112 Main Street, Dobbs Ferry, New York.  Members of the public may join the meeting in person at Village Hall or any location listed in this notice, or remotely by using the Zoom information below.

Except as may be authorized by any overriding federal, state or local order, all meetings of the Village’s boards or committees qualifying as “public bodies” are conducted in accordance with Open Meetings Law (NYS Public Officers Law, Article 7). One or more board members may be participating remotely during public meetings under “extraordinary circumstances” as authorized by Open Meetings Law 103-a. 1.  Public hearing to receive comments on a local law for a zoning text amendment to Chapter 300 of the Dobbs Ferry Code to add “Animal-related Uses – General” to the list of permitted uses in the CP zoning district; and Consider a resolution adopting a local law amending the Dobbs Ferry Zoning Code to permit animal-related uses-general in the CP Zoning District

Resolutions

1.  Resolution:  Consider a resolution accepting the Annual Audit of the Village Justice Court Records and Docket for Fiscal Year ending May 31, 2023

2,  Resolution:  Consider a resolution approving a starting change drawer for the Village Justice Court Office

3.  Resolution:  Consider a resolution to award a contract after competitive bidding for a project to complete improvements at the intersection of Ashford Avenue, Storm Street and Grandview to improve existing conditions and pedestrian safety

4.  Resolution:  Consider a resolution to close the offices at Village Hall, Department of Public Works and the Village Court on November 17, 2023 for Annual Records Management

5.  Resolution:  Consider a resolution to vacate the position held by a provisional employee

6.  Resolution:  Consider a resolution authorizing the Village Administrator to sign and execute an annual traffic safety grant for the period of October 1, 2023 to September 30, 2024

7.  Resolution:  Consider a resolution to correct a typographical error relating to Master Fee Schedule Section 127-7 Time Limits, 127-7C Time Limits Fees

8.  Resolution:  Consider a resolution to set a public hearing on a proposed zoning text amendment to provide for flexibility in the assessment of recreation fees in connection with Accessory Dwelling Units

9.  Resolution:  Consider a resolution authorizing the street closure of Cedar and Main Streets for the annual trick or treating event to be held on Tuesday, October 31, 2023 between the hours of 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.

10.  Resolution:  Consider a resolution authorizing the street closure of Cedar and Main Streets for the 2023 Fright Night event to be held on Friday, October 27, 2023 between the hours of 4:00 p.m. to midnight

11.  Resolution:  Consider a resolution approving a request from Gretchen Skaggs for a Garage Sale Permit for a community-wide garage sale on October 28, 2023 between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.

12.  Resolution:  Consider a resolution approving the audit of claims as submitted and recommended by the Village Treasurer
