The members of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Dobbs Ferry will meet in person on Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at 7:30 p.m. at Village Hall located at 112 Main Street, Dobbs Ferry, New York.  Members of the public may join the meeting in person at Village Hall or any location listed in this notice, or remotely by using the Zoom information below.

Except as may be authorized by any overriding federal, state or local order, all meetings of the Village’s boards or committees qualifying as “public bodies” are conducted in accordance with Open Meetings Law (NYS Public Officers Law, Article 7). One or more board members may be participating remotely during public meetings under “extraordinary circumstances” as authorized by Open Meetings Law 103-a. 1.  Consider a resolution appointing Joshua Posnick as a Police Sergeant in the Village of Dobbs Ferry; and Mayor Rossillo to administer the oath of office

2.  Consider a resolution appointing Andreas DeJesus as a Police Detective in the Village of Dobbs Ferry; and Mayor Rossillo to administer the oath of office

3.  Consider a resolution appointing Tyler Daniel as a Volunteer Firefighter for the Dobbs Ferry Fire Department

Resolutions

1.  Resolution:  Consider a resolution authorizing the Village Administrator to execute contracts for information technology support services

2.  Resolution:  Consider a resolution in support for the New York State Assembly and Senate to pass a Strong Packaging Reduction and Recycling Infrastructure Act (A.532-A/S.4246-A) and expand the State’s Bottle Bill (A.6353/S.237-B)

3.  Resolution:  Consider a resolution waiving enforcement of specific parking regulations for off-street parking lot at 99 Cedar Street on June 1, 2024, rain date June 2, 2024 in support of the Phoenicia Flea event

4.  Resolution:  Consider a resolution to authorize the Department of Public Works to purchase a new 2024 Ford F-350 pickup truck with plow

5.  Resolution:  Consider a resolution to authorize the Department of Public Works to declare 1996 International dump truck as surplus and authorize the purchase of a new 2025 Kenworth T-480 dump truck

6.  Resolution:  Consider a resolution to authorize the Department of Public Works to declare two Ford F-550 dump trucks as surplus and authorize the purchase of two new 2024 Ford F-550 dump trucks

7.  Resolution:  Consider a resolution regarding the provision of Commercial Insurance for General Liability coverage

8.  Resolution:  Consider a resolution regarding the provision of Public Officer’s and Workman’s Compensation coverage

9.  Resolution:  Consider a resolution approving the audit of claims as submitted and recommended by the Village Treasurer
