The members of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Dobbs Ferry will meet in person on Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at 7:30 p.m. at Village Hall located at 112 Main Street, Dobbs Ferry, New York.  Members of the public may join the meeting in person at Village Hall or any location listed in this notice, or remotely by using the Zoom information below.

Except as may be authorized by any overriding federal, state or local order, all meetings of the Village’s boards or committees qualifying as “public bodies” are conducted in accordance with Open Meetings Law (NYS Public Officers Law, Article 7). One or more board members may be participating remotely during public meetings under “extraordinary circumstances” as authorized by Open Meetings Law 103-a. Resolutions

1.  Resolution:  Consider a resolution authorizing the Village Administrator to go out to bid for annual infrastructure repairs

2.  Resolution:  Consider a resolution waiving enforcement of specific parking regulations for the off-street parking lot at 99 Cedar Street on May 18, 2024 in support of the Rivertowns Chamber of Commerce “Taste Local” event

3.  Resolution:  Consider a resolution for the approval of submission of application for CEC grant for upgrading library HVAC and solar array 

4.  Resolution:  Consider a resolution to accept a grant from Student Assistance Services, as the pass through agency from Westchester County Executive George Latimer’s office, in the amount of $5,000.00 for the purpose of the Dobbs Ferry Youth Services Council initiatives against harmful tobacco and related products

5.  Resolution:  Consider a resolution to accept a Greater Irvington Land Trust New York State Grant in the amount of $1,650.00 for the purpose of purchasing two native trees to enhance the commuter space located at the Dobbs Ferry Waterfront bus stop

6.  Resolution:  Consider a resolution authorizing the Village Administrator to authorize a change order with Dolph Rotfeld Engineering for the installation of a bypass storm water connection to the existing manhole at Ashford Avenue as part of the Gould Park Improvement Project

7.  Resolution:  Consider a resolution authorizing the Village Administrator to authorize a change order with Dolph Rotfeld Engineering for additional work outside the original contract scope of work that will allow the Village to open the pool and have an established turf

8.  Resolution:  Consider a resolution approving the street closure of Bellewood Avenue at the intersections of Ashford Avenue, Walgrove Avenue and Transvaal Street for a play street to be held on Sunday, June 2, 2024 between the hours of 2:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m., with a rain date of Sunday, June 9, 2024

9.  Resolution:  Consider a resolution to authorize the Department of Public Works to declare two pieces of equipment as surplus and purchase two additional pieces of equipment

10.  Resolution:  Consider a resolution to close the offices as Village Hall, DPW and Village Court on July 3, 2024 for Records Management Day

11.  Resolution:  Consider a resolution approving the audit of claims as submitted and recommended by the Village Treasurer
