Gould Park Pool Update

Pool
Good Afternoon,

In case you are not aware or have not seen the pool in a few days, we wanted to give you an update on the Gould Park Pool.

On Saturday, July 11th, an intense flash flood occurred and water runoff came down Beacon Hill, underneath Ashford Avenue, and through the retaining wall bordering the pool. The pool was then filled with mud and debris. As much as we wish we could predict acts of nature sadly, we cannot. We can learn from this and move forward.

We are very fortunate that our village staff, especially DPW, were on site immediately on Saturday night and have been working diligently to get the pool back in working order as quickly as possible.

We understand that this setback is very frustrating. We planned for the pool to open this week but due to this unfortunate event, the opening of the pool must be pushed back. Once we have an opening date we will let you know and registration will then open for time slots.

In the meantime, if you have not done so, go to dobbsferry.activityreg.com and create an account for you and your immediate family (living in your household) so you are prepared when registration does open.

We continue to thank you for your patience!
