The members of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Dobbs Ferry will meet in person on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at 7:30 p.m. at Village Hall located at 112 Main Street, Dobbs Ferry, New York.  Members of the public may join the meeting in person at Village Hall or any location listed in this notice, or remotely by using the Zoom information below.

Except as may be authorized by any overriding federal, state or local order, all meetings of the Village’s boards or committees qualifying as “public bodies” are conducted in accordance with Open Meetings Law (NYS Public Officers Law, Article 7). One or more board members may be participating remotely during public meetings under “extraordinary circumstances” as authorized by Open Meetings Law 103-a. Appointments

1.  Consider a resolution accepting the resignation of Peter Hofmann as the Chair of the Zoning Board of Appeals; and appointing Jeremy Gutman as the Chair of the Zoning Board of Appeals to fulfill the unexpired term of Peter Hofmann

2.  Mayor Rossillo to announce the appointment of Rich Larson as the CDBG Representative for a term of one year 

Public Hearings

1.  Adjourned public hearing to consider a site plan approval for property at 83 Main Street for renovation of an existing “barn” building to include commercial space on the first floor and one family dwelling on the second floor

Resolutions

1.  Resolution:  Consider a resolution subject to mandatory referendum in the November 2024 General Election, to increase the amount of Village contributions to the current service award program for members of the Dobbs Ferry Volunteer Fire Department 

2.  Resolution:  Consider a resolution authorizing the Village Administrator to sign an agreement with Student Assistance Services for one year for the period of September 30, 2023 through September 29, 2024 in the amount of $9,500.00 to be paid from the Federal Grant monies received for the Youth Services Council

3.  Resolution:  Consider a resolution authorizing the Village Administrator to sign an agreement with Student Assistance Services for one year for the period of September 30, 2023 through September 29, 2024 in the amount of $37,073.00 to be paid from the Federal Grant monies received for the Youth Services Council

4.  Resolution:  Consider a resolution to authorize an agreement with the Rivertowns Chamber in support of economic development programming

5.  Resolution:  Consider a resolution to accept a donation from the Dobbs Ferry Youth Little League for placement of a shed at Memorial Park and authorize a license for shared use of the shed

6.  Resolution:  Consider a resolution authorizing funding the purchase of a shed/concession stand at Memorial Park

7.  Resolution:  Consider a resolution to approve a budget transfer as recommended by the Treasurer’s office

8.  Resolution:  Consider a resolution approving the audit of claims as submitted and recommended by the Village Treasurer
